Welcome back to our mission team blog and the first post of the new team. After the stories and experiences from last year's trip, we had over 40 students apply to be a part of this group. It is a challenging task to determine who to extend invites to, but we feel like the ones selected combined with the returning veterans will make for a great experience. It is hard to believe we leave for the island in 10 days!!! The final preparations are being made on my end, and our team will have 2 Thursday morning breakfasts in my classroom to finalize packing and other details. This blog will serve as communication while we are on the island and many students will have an opportunity to post. Thank you for either allowing your child to be a part of our family and supporting us financially, or by praying for our team as well as the communities we will be working in. The countdown is ON!!!
