As General Douglas MacArthur told the people of the Philippines..."I shall return!!!"

We have arrived safely in Montego Bay and the pastors welcomed our return with open arms!!! The team did a great job getting through immigration, baggage claim, and exiting the airport customs. We loaded onto our bus to head to the MegaMart and buy snack-items for the week. The best way to describe the MegaMart would be an extreme Walmart. After we bought our share of sweets and treats, we headed to our home to get settled in. The weather is Jamaican humid and we got a nice afternoon/evening rain to cool things off. The team is all settled in and already strategizing for their athletic competitions throughout the week.

Every night, a group of students will be preparing a team devotional and contributing to the blog. Dr. Morris and Coach K-Mart were in charge tonight and focused on the key word "humility". Dr. Morris read scripture from John 13: 3-17. A short excerpt reads, "I, your Lord and Teacher, have just washed your feet. You, then should wash one another's feet. I have set an example for you, so that you will do just what I have done for you..." Coach Martin explained how unique and exciting this group is to be around. We have challenged ourselves as a group of 23 to serve whole-heartedly and do whatever is asked of us. The students were grouped in trios and took turns washing each other's feet and drying them. Matt Redman's "10,000 Reasons" was playing in the background and students had time to reflect on the upcoming week. At the conclusion, we laid hands on each other in prayer about the people we will meet and interact with this week. The final activity had each student sign a coffee mug that we will be bringing back with us for Dr. Hill. He is missed dearly in body but his spirit and prayers are with us.

Goodnight from Jamaica!!!
